Green LED Blink Codes for Standard Egg Station
Number of LED Blinks | Cause(s) | Solution |
Blinks on and off 1 time, pauses 2 seconds, repeats pattern | Control board EEPROM memory is corrupted | Unit turns off the control signal to Solid State Relay and disables all front lights and buttons. Unit won’t heat up until defaults are reloaded into memory. Reload defaults by turning unit off, then pressing and holding the TIME 2 button, turn unit on and then release button. |
Blinks on and off 2 times, pauses 2 seconds, repeats pattern | Ambient temperature inside control compartment has exceeded 155° F | Unit will turn off the control signal to the Solid State Relay and disable front lights and buttons, and unit won’t heat up. Check that there’s proper air ventilation around unit and that unit isn’t around a significant heat source. Allow unit to cool so internal ambient temperature drops below 140° F, and unit is turned off and back on again. |
Blinks on and off 3 times, pauses for 2 seconds, repeats pattern | Disconnected or open thermocouple | Unit turns off control signal to the Solid State Relay and disables all front lights and buttons. Unit won’t heat up. Have thermocouple reconnected or replaced, then turn unit off and back on. |
Blinks on and off 4 times, pauses for 2 seconds, repeats pattern | Voltage supply to unit is below 160 VAC or above 265 VAC | Unit turns off control signal to the Solid State Relay and disables all front lights and buttons. Unit won’t heat up. Have the supply voltage reset to within the proper limits, and turn the unit off and back on. |
Blinks on and off 5 times, pauses for 2 seconds, repeats pattern | Lost signal to 50/60Hz due to an open harness wire or disconnected harness wire on AC Isolator Board OR from AC Isolator Board to the Control Board | Unit turns off control signal to the Solid State Relay and disables all front lights and buttons. Unit won’t heat up. Have the Hz signal reapplied, and turn unit back off and on. |
