Parts Town, the market-leading distributor of foodservice equipment parts, has hired Martin Rohde as President, Parts Town International.
Rohde’s focus will be rapid expansion of Parts Town’s global footprint in order to improve access to genuine OEM parts to support manufacturer and customer partners. He will have full responsibility for Parts Town’s operations outside of its core U.S. and Canadian markets.
“We have seen demand for our technology and distribution expertise significantly increase globally,” said Steve Snower, CEO of Parts Town. “In particular, many of our manufacturer partners are seeking our support to improve access to genuine OEM parts and build market share for those parts around the world. Our international business has scaled nicely over the past few years and has now reached a point where we will be making meaningful investment to take it to the next level. Martin’s international perspective, combined with his digital know-how and leadership capabilities, are exactly what we need. He fits our culture and core values well, and we are incredibly excited to welcome him to our team.”
Rohde brings considerable experience to his role with Parts Town. Most recently, he was general manager of Amazon Business where he focused on developing Amazon’s commercial customer base. Prior to his time at Amazon, Rohde held e-commerce leadership roles for Hewlett Packard and Arrow Electronics.
Rohde adds, “I am thrilled to be joining Parts Town and to bring my experiences to such a great team with an amazing company culture. I am eager to help expand Parts Town’s technology leadership, distribution operations and global reach to support both manufacturers and customers.”
