In the most recent phase in a trend toward high-quality product aimed at customer satisfaction, many hotels have reviewed and overhauled their approach to the preparation of kosher meals for guests. Where once a request for a kosher meal meant a guest would get something pre-packaged and substandard, now hotels are taking the opportunity to get creative, learn about kosher foods and preparation methods, and put together freshly prepared dishes for their guests.<\/p>\n
It’s not a simple proposition. Kosher chefs must be trained to understand and observe strict dietary laws. The cost of that training, and of procuring the correct ingredients, is reflected in the price of the meal. But for those following a kosher diet, the added expense may be worth it to get a well-prepared meal.<\/p>\n
