Anets Fryer Shutdown and Start-Up Instructions
Should you need to shut down your commercial kitchen equipment for a prolonged period of time, it’s important to know how to do so. Following proper shutdown and restart procedures ensures that your equipment stays safe and functional, and this is especially the case when it comes to your Anets fryer. Learn how to shutdown and start-up your Anets unit with the guide below.
Anets Fryer Shutdown Procedure
- Step 1. Filter the unit
- Step 2. Drain the oil into a suitible container and store/dispose of properly.
- Step 3. Perform a Boil Out (or Cold Soak) on the fry tanks.
- Step 4. Drain the fry tanks and thoroughly dry them.
- Step 5. Apply a thin layer of clean cooking oil over the inside of the fry tank.
- Step 6. Install the tank covers.
- Step 7. Clean and thoroughly dry the filter pan and pickup assemply. Reassemble one done.
- Step 8. Disconnect power.
- Step 8a. For gas fryers, close the manual gas supply valve.
- Step 8b. For electric fryers, unplug the unit.
Anets Fryer Restart Procedure
- Step 1. Restore power.
- Step 1a. For gas fryers, open the manual gas supply valve.
- Step 1b. Plug in the fryer.
- Step 2. Remove tank covers.
- Step 3. Perform a Boil Out (or Cold Soak) on the fry tanks.
- Step 4. Check all filter drawers, portable filters, accessories and crumb catches. CLean thoroughly.
- Step 5. Reassemble the filter pan components, including filter paper.
- Step 6. Fill the fryers to about 1-inch below the “Oil Level” with cold oil.
- Step 7. Turn on the fryers.
