The Antunes InfiniSteam is a space-saving, high-performance workhorse that’s sure to be an incredible addition to any commercial kitchen. Since keeping these units in working condition is critical to business operations, our Antunes InfiniSteam troubleshooting guide will help you diagnose and resolve equipment issues as quickly as possible.
These tips are for IS-8000 units.
Steamer Is Not Working
- Unit is unplugged - Plug in the unit.
- Unit is turned off - Turn on the unit.
- Water line is closed - Open the water line.
- Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the circuit breaker.
- Drawer is left ajar or isn’t seated properly - Securely push the drawer all the way into the cavity.
Machine Is Leaking
Leaking Steam
- Cavity drain screens are clogged - Clear blockage from the drain screens.
- Internal drain hose is kinked - Contact an authorized service technician.
- Steam is escaping the rear panel due to internal component failure - Contact an authorized service technician.
Leaking Water
- Cavity drain screens are clogged - Rinse the drain screens.
- Water fill or steam solenoid valves are clogged - Contact an authorized service technician.
- Water inlet hose isn’t connected properly - Reconnect the hose until it clicks.
Unit Doesn’t Heat
- Steamer is unplugged or circuit breaker is tripped - Plug in the power cord or flip the circuit breaker. If issues continue, call a licensed electrician to solve the problem.
- Cavity drawers aren’t shut completely - Push the cavity drawers in all the way.
- Component connections are loose - Schedule a service appointment with a licensed technician to address the issue.
Machine Not Reaching Proper Temperature
- GUI settings have changed - Adjust the GUI to set the boiler temperature to 268°F (131.111°C). Refer to the user manual for more details.
- Voltage issue present in electrical components - Reach out to an authorized technician for assistance.
Steamer Constantly Draining - Doesn’t Build Temp or Pressure
- System has a buildup/blockage - Turn the unit off and run a clean cycle. Be sure to allow the machine to complete the entire cycle.
- Drain valve is faulty or malfunctioning - Consult a licensed technician to resolve the issue.
Excessive Steam From Cavity
- Cavity drain screen is plugged - Remove the drawers and clean the drain screens.
- Drain hose is kinked or 2” (5.1CM) air gap is blocked - Ensure the hose isn’t kinked and a 2” (5.1CM) air gap is maintained to the floor drain or drain box.
Excessive Water From Cavity
- Water probes are scaled - Run one or more clean cycles to clean the buildup. If the issue persists, check the water system. If no cause or solution is found, call an authorized technician to address the issue.
- Cavity drain screen is plugged - Remove the drawers and clean the drain screens.
- Drain hose is kinked or 2” (5.1CM) air gap is blocked - Ensure the hose isn’t kinked and a 2” (5.1CM) air gap is maintained with the floor drain or drain box.
- Water fill solenoids are clogged - Seek help from a licensed technician to solve the problem.
- Steam solenoid valves are clogged - Get in touch with an authorized technician to correct the issue.
Steam Escaping From Rear Panel
- Boiler temperature is set too high - Schedule a service appointment with a licensed technician to address the problem.
- Safety valve is faulty or malfunctioning - Contact an authorized technician to resolve the issue.
Water Escaping From Rear
- Water inlet hose isn’t connected properly - Reconnect or replace the inlet water feed hose.
- Water level probe has scale buildup - Run a cleaning cycle.
- Vent is overflowing - Call a licensed technician to handle the problem.
System Error Displayed on GUI
- System error is present - Attempt to clear the error by turning the steamer OFF and then ON again. If the error continues, schedule an appointment with an authorized technician to remedy the issue.
