Don’t be alarmed if you notice letters and numbers appear on the unit. These more than likely are just fault codes. What is a fault code, you may ask? It’s simply a code that appears to help let you know what might be wrong with the unit. These are handy to help with diagnosing and making proper repairs. This article is going to cover the fault codes for both indoor and outdoor units. It’s important to keep in mind that fault codes for indoor and outdoor units incorporate different letters.

Indoor units have fault codes that either start with the letter A or C.
