Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the following is an essential part of routine maintenance and prolonging the life of the unit:
Interior
- Wipe surfaces with water and soft cloth
- Clean grease with damp cloth and mild dish soap
- Dry with a soft cloth
- Don’t use steel wool or abrasive cleaners
Exterior
- Clean the exterior daily, after a prolonged shutdown and at start up
- Keep the area around the unit clean and free of debris
- Wipe with the grain of the steel
- Dry with a soft cloth

Condenser Coil
- Condenser coils should be cleaned monthly
- Vacuum dust build-up or use a stiff brush to remove debris
- For extreme build-up and dirt, use a commercially available condenser cleaner
Gaskets
- Clean on a daily basis to prevent mold or mildew
- Clean with warm, soapy water
- Never use any sharp tools on the gaskets
