Duke Electric Convection Oven Maintenance

Convection Oven Maintenance
Oven Cleaning
- Stainless steel - Only use stainless steel cleaner to clean the stainless steel on the oven
- Painted surfaces - Painted surfaces on the oven should be routinely cleaned with a mild detergent and wet cloth
- Porcelain interiors - Regularly clean oven interiors with a degreasing agent
- Blower wheel, racks & supports - These parts can be removed and soaked in a solution of ammonia and water
- Oiling - After cleaning, the oven can be wiped down with oil
Door Adjustment
- Step 1. Loose the jam nut on both turnbuckles
- Step 2. Make adjustments to turnbuckles simultaneously, loosening or tightening as needed
- Step 3. After the doors are adjusted, retighten the jam nuts
- Step 4. Check that the door is in adjustment
Do’s & Don’ts
- Don’t wipe the oven while it’s hot
- Don’t use alkaline-type cleaners on any steel parts
- Do check seals are working properly
- Do wait for the oven to be cold before cleaning
