Troubleshooting the Displays

If there’s an issue with the displays, then you’ll want to pay attention to these Heatcraft Intelligen troubleshooting tips to get the system running again.

Light Bar on the iRC UI

  • Green Light – This means the unit is running smoothly.
  • Yellow Light – A solid yellow light means there’s  an error on one or more of the evaporators.
  • Flashing Yellow Light – This indicates which unit has the error.
  • Red Light – A red light means an alarm is going off on the evaporators of the unit.

OLED Display

If there is an error or an alarm, the code will appear on the OLED display. See the list below to find the meaning of these error codes and alarms.

Test Mode

Test Mode can be helpful with Heatcraft IntelliGen troubleshooting, but must be initiated in Service Mode. Once turned on, the system will automatically cycle through the outputs on the iRC board to energize each one separately for 10 seconds. This process will repeat 3 times and then return to Service Mode.
