How Do You Disassemble a Nemco Slicer?

- Step 1. Unlock the shaft lock – Turn the shaft lock counterclockwise to release. If you’re having trouble identifying where this is located, you can find it on the trough to the left of the guard or refer to your Nemco user manual and parts diagram.
- Step 2. Remove the slicing unit – Unlocking the shaft will release the slicing unit, so then you can go ahead and remove it from the trough.
- Step 3. Lift off the guard – Now that the slicing unit has been set aside, you can easily remove the guard by lifting up.
- Step 4. Unfasten the locking screw – You can find the locking screw on the mounting base. Turn counterclockwise to loosen.
- Step 5. Dismantle the trough and leg – Once you’ve untightened the locking screw, you can go ahead and slide off the trough and leg from the mounting base.

- Step 5. Lock slicing unit and guard - Lock the slicing unit and the guard into place by turning the shaft to the right
