How to Change the Settings on a TurboChef Pizza Oven

TurboChef pizza ovens provide even baking and reliability so you can make the best pies in town. To do so, these ovens have several adjustable settings for you to customize. From changing the temperature to belt speed and more, learn how to adjust your TurboChef pizza oven settings with the guide below.

This guide is applicable for TurboChef HhC oven models like 1618, 2020 and 2620.

How to Change Cooking Profile Name

  • Step 1—On the cooking screen, press the L1 button to access the name change screen.
  • Step 2—Use the Up and Down keys to select the available characters for your cooking profile name. To insert a space, press the INS (L1) button. To delete a character, press the DEL (R1) button. You can also press the left (L1) and right (R1) arrows to move the cursor. 
  • Step 3—Press the R3 button to save any changes, or press the L3 button to cancel changes.

How to Adjust Belt Speed

  • Step 1—On the cooking screen of your control panel, select which belt you would like to adjust by pressing either the L2 (Belt F) or L3 (Belt R) buttons.
  • Step 2—Adjust the speed of the belt by pressing either the up or down key. You can increase the time by 5-second increments up to 15 minutes total, and you can decrease time by 5-second increments. If you have the Flex option enabled, you can increase or decrease the time up to an additional 15 seconds.
  • Step 3—Set the new belt speed by pressing the corresponding button for the belt being adjusted.

How to Adjust Temperature

  • Step 1—Access the temperature controls by pressing the R2 button on the cooking screen of the control panel.
  • Step 2—Adjust the temperature by pressing either the up or down key. You can increase and decrease the temperature by 10° F/5° C increments. If you have the Flex option enabled, you can increase or decrease the temperature up to an additional 10° F/5° C.
  • Step 3—Set the new temperature by pressing the R2 button again.

How to Adjust Top and Bottom Air

  • Step 1—Press the R1 button on the cooking screen of the control panel to access the top air controls and the R3 button to access the bottom air controls.
  • Step 2—Adjust the air speed of the belt by pressing either the up or down key. You can increase or decrease the time by 5% increments up to 100% total. If you have the Flex option enabled, you can increase or decrease the time up to an additional 15%.
  • Step 3—Set the new air speed by pressing the corresponding button for the air control being adjusted.
