How to Program Honeywell Digital Thermostat
If you need to know how to program a Honeywell digital thermostat, then check out the steps below. You can learn how to change the time and temperatures for all four of the program schedules: wake, away, home and sleep.
The following guide works for the Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat.
Adjusting Program Schedules
- Step 1 - Press the ‘Menu’ button on the thermostat.
- Step 2 - ‘Prog’ should be displayed, press ‘Select’. ‘On’ should be displayed.
- Step 3 - If you want to use a schedule, press ‘Select’. If you don’t want to use a schedule, press the + or - to display ‘Off’, then press ‘Select’.
- Step 4 - Press the + or - to select the days or set of days to edit, then press ‘Select’.
- Step 5 - Press the + or - to select a schedule period to edit, then press ‘Select’. ‘On’ should be displayed.
- Step 6 - Press ‘Select’ to keep the schedule period on or press + and then ‘Select’ to turn off the schedule period.
- Step 7 - Time will start blinking. Press the + or - to adjust the schedule period start time, then press ‘Select’.
- Step 8 - Temperature will start blinking. Press the + or - to adjust the heat setpoint temperature, then press ‘Select’. Press the + or - to adjust the cool setpoint temperature, then press ‘Select’.
- Step 9 - Repeat steps 5-8 for the remaining schedule periods.
- Step 10 - Press ‘Home’ when you’re finished to save and return to the home screen. The schedule can be adjusted and turned on or off by returning to the menu and following the steps provided above.
