How to Sharpen the “S” Blade
It’s important to sharpen the “S” blade regularly, especially if frequently used. Follow these instructions to get the blade nice and sharp:
- Step 1. Put on cut-resistant gloves.
- Step 2. Use a Robot Coupe sharpening stone.
- Step 3. Hold or clamp the blade flat on the corner or edge of a sturdy table.
- Step 4. Using your other hand, hold the stone at a 30 degree angle against the top bevel of the blade.
- Step 5. Pull the stone into the blade’s edge moving from the hub to tip until the blade is sharp.
- Step 6. Turn the blade over and repeat step 5.
