How to Use a Haier Washing Machine
As every good homeowner knows, you can’t just toss in a wad of laundry, press random buttons and expect your clothing to come out good as new. Doing laundry takes a certain level of attention to detail that, if overlooked, could cause your clothes to look a little worse for wear or to feel tighter and shorter than they were off the rack.
As a first-time user or someone who’s just plain old tired of having to replace clothes before their time, you’ve come to the right place. At Parts Town, we’ll teach you how to use a Haier washing machine step by step, as well as which program to select.
Haier Washing Machine Operating Instructions
Fortunately, the upcoming steps are as easy as sorting your clothes, adding laundry detergent and pressing a few buttons. We’ll show you how to use a Haier washing machine for top and front loading designs in only a few short steps:
- Step 1. Get your laundry ready – Now is the time to go through pockets for loose change, gum wrappers or keys, flip shirts inside out, zip zippers, button button ups and put any delicate items in a wash bag.
- Step 2. Sort your laundry – You’ll want to sort clothes into three hierarchies – color, fabric type and soil level.
- Step 3. Add the laundry detergent – The manufacturer recommends using non-foaming detergent designed for cold water use or ones specially designed for synthetic and woolen materials. Add your choice of laundry detergent to the detergent drawer, following the instructions on the packaging.
- Step 4. Add the fabric softener – Add fabric softener to the compartment if desired.
- Step 5. Add the bleach – If you so please, you may add bleach to the wash to the wash basket or detergent drawer, depending on your model of Haier washing machine.
- Step 6. Load the washing machine – It’s a good idea to load your laundry only after you’ve added the bleach so as not to accidentally splash your clothes. Be careful not to overload the washing machine. Although there are different maximums, depending on the program. Generally speaking, you should leave at least six inches from the load and the top of the drum.
- Step 7. Turn on the washing machine – Next step, press the power button to turn on the washing machine and prepare it for use.
- Step 8. Select a wash cycle – If you need help, reference the chart below to select a wash cycle best suited for your load of laundry.
- Step 9. Change the settings – Refer to the charts below for Haier front or top load washing machine instructions. Depending on your model, you may change the temperature, spin speed, water levels, wash times and rinse times.
- Step 10. Start the washer – Once you’ve selected the appropriate settings, press the Start/Pause button to give it a whirl. And that’s how you use a Haier washing machine in a nutshell!
