With their cutting-edge technology and user-friendly design, Wilbur Curtis cappuccino machines offer the efficiency needed in fast-paced business environments. To help you make the most of your equipment, this guide on how to use a Wilbur Curtis cappuccino machine explains the process for filling the canisters and dispensing drinks properly and reliably.

These directions apply to multiple Café Primo Cappuccino™ dispensers in the CAFE PC, PCGN and PCGT series, such as the CAFE PC3, PCNG4 and PCGT4 and other models.

Filling Instructions

  • Step 1. Turn off the machine - Make sure the unit is powered down by checking to see if the ready lights above the dispense buttons are lit. If needed, cut power to the dispenser by flipping the rear toggle switch down to the off position.
  • Step 2. Unplug the unit - Minimize electrical hazards by disconnecting the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Step 3. Open the front panel - Access the unit interior by either lifting the front panel up or swinging it to the right.
  • Step 4. Remove the canisters - Disconnect the canisters by turning the elbows clockwise until they’re in the upward position, then lift each canister up and out of the machine.
  • Step 5. Fill the canisters - Take the lids off the canisters and then fill them with powdered cappuccino mix, leaving a 1” (2.5CM) gap between the powder and the top of the canister. Remember to remove any air pockets by gently shaking the canister before returning it to the unit. Once the containers are filled, put the lids on firmly.
  • Step 6. Reinstall the canisters - Return the containers to the unit, making sure to align the gear socket on the back of each canister with the dispenser and connect it properly. Complete installation by turning the elbows clockwise until they point downward into the whipper chamber.
  • Step 7. Close the unit - Pull the front panel back into place to seal the machine interior.

Dispensing Instructions

  • Step 1. Verify the electrical connection - Make sure the electrical cord is plugged into an outlet. If it isn’t, connect the machine to power.
  • Step 2. Power on the machine - See if the unit is turned on; if not, power on the machine by flipping the rear toggle switch up to the on position.
  • Step 3. Position the cup - Place a cup or other container under the spout for the desired flavor. If making an iced beverage, put ice into the cup before dispensing the drink into it.
  • Step 4. Dispense the beverage - Fill the cup by pressing and holding the button above it. Be sure to release the button when the cup is 3/4 full to avoid overfilling.
  • Step 5. Remove the cup - Take the cup off the drip tray once beverage has stopped flowing from the unit. Serve the drink immediately.
