Operating Instructions for 201HT/LT, 201HTN, 401HT/401HTN, 501HT/501HTN/501LT
- Step 1—Scrape off any leftover food before loading dishware or cookware into the unit.
- Step 2—Load all wares into the dish rack. Make sure to load glasses and plates in the peg rack, cups and bowls into the flat bottom rack, silverware in a single layer on the flat bottom rack and pots & pans in a flat bottom rack.
- NOTE—Make sure you don’t overload the dish rack.
- Step 3—Slide in the dish racks one at a time into the wash compartment.
- NOTE—Do not stack dish racks. They must go in one at a time.
- Step 4—Close the dishwasher front door.
- Step 5—Power on the dishwasher by pushing the power switch UP. The switch will illuminate and the unit will start to fill with water.
- Step 6—Let the wash gauge reach a minimum of 150º F/66º C for HT models and 120º F/49º C for LT models. Place an empty dish rack into the unit and run an empty first cycle. This will help heat up the wash tank interior.
- Step 7—Load a filled dish rack into the unit.
- Step 8—Close the door then press and hold the START button for 1 second. Once the green in-cycle light comes on, the wash cycle will begin. The wash cycle will last 141 seconds.
- NOTE—If you open the door during the wash cycle, the cycle will temporarily stop for 5 seconds. If the door is open for more than 5 seconds, the cycle will restart from the beginning. If it’s open for less than 5 seconds, the cycle will resume once the door is closed.
- Step 9—At the end of the wash cycle, a final rinse cycle will begin. Check the rinse temperature during this final rinse cycle to ensure that it reaches a minimum of 180-195º F/82-91º C for HT models and 120º F/49º C for LT models. The water from the final rinse cycle will be retained for the next wash cycle.
- Step 10—Open the door and remove the dish rack once the green cycle light goes out.
- Step 11—Repeat Steps 2-10 for additional dish racks.
