The Nemco Easy FryKutter lets you slice up produce easily for making french fries, fritters and more. Getting it set up and learning how to use it is easy, too. Guess that’s why “Easy” is in the name, huh? Learn how to prepare and operate your Nemco Easy FryKutter with our handy guide below.

This guide is applicable for the 55450 model of Easy FryKutter units.

Preparation & Setup

How to Wall-Mount Fry Cutter

  • Step 1—Locate an area on the wall where you’d like to mount the fry cutter unit.
  • Step 2—Find the nearest wall stud in the location where you’d like to mount the fry cutter, making sure that one of the mounting holes on one side of the unit is over the stud. 
  • Step 3—Mark the 4 mounting hole locations on the wall.
  • Step 4—With a 5/32 drill bit, drill holes into the marked locations on the wall.
  • Step 5—Drive the mounting screws with washers through the mounting holes in the unit and the wall. 

How to Table-Mount Fry Cutter

  • Step 1—Pick a sturdy work surface or table to mount the unit onto.
  • Step 2—Place the unit on the work surface and mark each mounting hole.
  • Step 3—With a 5/32 drill bit, drill holes into the marked locations on the surface.
  • Step 4—Drive the mounting screws with washers through the mounting holes in the unit and the work surface. 

How to Use an Easy FryKutter

  • Step 1—Choose the desired size of push block you’d like to cut the food product. These come in various sizes for different cut thicknesses.
  • Step 2—Place prepared food product onto the blade and holder assembly.
  • Step 3—Make sure hands and fingers are away from the cutting area.
  • Step 4—Pull down the lever in one quick motion to cut the food product. If the produce is too large or isn’t positioned at an angle with the blades, repeat the process. 
  • Step 5—Clean the unit once you’re done cutting.
