Schaerer Coffee Club Troubleshooting

Schaerer Coffee Club Trouble Photo

There are plenty of problems that can arise from not regularly cleaning your coffee machine or paying attention to milk and powder levels. Fortunately, most of these issues can be fixed in-house. Check out these common Schaerer coffee club troubleshooting issues and how to solve them in the sections below.

Hot Water Not Dispensing

If the hot water dispenser is not working, it may be that mineral deposits are clogging the outlet. Clean it and see what happens. If the problem persists, please contact an authorized service technician who can get your coffee machine back up and running without voiding the warranty.

Hot Chocolate Not Dispensing

If the hot chocolate dispenser is not working, please stop using it and contact an authorized service technician who can remedy the issue.

Blocked Hot Chocolate Portioner/Only Dispenses with Water

A dirty or clogged portioner may be the reason you’re only receiving a cup full of hot water when you select the hot chocolate function. Empty, clean, rinse and dry the portioner to enjoy the sweet drink once again. You may have to turn the screw by hand to release all the powder from the portioner to fully clean it.

Coffee Dispensing Varies between Sides

A dirty coffee dispenser may be why you’re experiencing an inconsistent stream on one side vs the other. Regularly cleaning the coffee dispenser outlets can prevent this from becoming an issue.

Pump Runs Continuously

If you hear the pump running continuously, you’ll need to reset the Schaerer coffee club machine. You can do this by turning the unit off and on again. If the problem persists, please contact an authorized service technician who can remedy the issue.
