Stoelting Logo New

Without proper maintenance and cleaning, appliances can get build-up and parts can break down. It is important to always make sure you stick to a routine schedule to make sure you give units the best lifespan they can have. The following guide is made for Stoelting 100 F & C and 2217G models.

Make sure not to use harsh cleaning chemicals on the unit to avoid damaging parts.

  • Clean the exterior - Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe down the exterior with a mild alkaline cleanser or soapy water.
  • Clean the sani-tray - Lifting up and out, remove the sani-tray and rinse it with warm soapy water.

Weekly Cleaning

  • Step 1. Switch to OFF - Set the “STIRRING ONLY-OFF-STIRRING & FREEZING” switch to OFF.
  • Step 2. Unplug unit - Unplug the freezer from the electrical supply.
  • Step 3. Clean mix & flavor parts - With a warm detergent solution, wash all the parts that come into contact with the neutral base mix or flavors.
  • Step 4. Rinse and dry parts - Rinse and dry all the parts that come into contact with the neutral base mix or flavors. Don’t use any sanitizer on these parts.
  • Step 5. Disassemble spigot assembly - Disassemble the spigot assembly and lower bushing. Clean these parts and store them in a plastic bag with a moist paper towel to prevent them from becoming brittle.
