T&S Brass Pre-Rinse Faucet Installation
T&S Brass faucets are known for their sleek design and unmatched functionality, making them great plumbing fixtures for foodservice establishments. If you want to add one of these outlets to your kitchen, this T&S Brass faucet installation guide will walk you through the process step by step so you can mount your unit correctly.
These instructions are for standard pre-rinse faucets, such as the B-2187, and EasyInstall pre-rinse units, like the B-0133-B.

Standard Pre-Rinse Instructions
Preparing the Lines
- Step 1. Cut the water supply - Begin by shutting off the water supply and draining the lines.
- Step 2. Prepare the supply lines - Make a more secure, longer-lasting connection by applying teflon tape to the water supply lines before proceeding with the installation process.
Mounting the Main Faucet Body
- Step 1. Install the coupling flange - Place the coupling flange on the water line hookup and tighten it to the wall with a wrench.
- Step 2. Insert the coupling nut washer - Put the coupling nut washer in the flange.
- Step 3. Install the main faucet body - Mount the main body of the faucet on the flange and turn the coupling nut to tighten the connection. For an even more secure connection, tighten the coupling nut with a wrench.
- Step 4. Test for leaks - Turn on the water to test for leaks. If there are no leaks, you may continue with the installation procedure.
Installing the Riser
- Step 1. Prepare the riser - Apply teflon tape to both ends of the riser before installing it in order to ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
- Step 2. Install the riser - Insert one end of the riser into the top of the faucet and tighten it by hand.
- Step 3. Attach the hook - Slide the hook halfway down the riser and temporarily tighten the screw with a screwdriver so the hook stays in place: you will move the hook to its final position later.
- Step 4. Connect riser and spring assembly - Hand tighten the closed coil-end of the spring assembly to the top of the riser, then tighten with a wrench.
- Step 5. Adjust the hook (if necessary) - If needed, loosen the hook and move it up or down to find the ideal location where the spring valve hangs loosely when secured by the hook. Once you find the correct location, secure the hook in place by retightening the screw.
Finalizing the Installation Procedure
- Step 1. Check for leaks - Turn on the water to see if there are any leaks and tighten the connection points if needed.
- Step 2. Use the faucet normally - You may now begin using your unit normally.
EasyInstall Pre-Rinse Installation
- Step 1. Install the main faucet body - Follow the directions in the “Preparing the Lines” and “Mounting the Main Faucet Body” sections above to mount the main part of the unit.
- Step 2. Prepare the riser - Slide the EasyInstall nut onto one end of the riser, and then apply teflon tape to the other end.
- Step 3. Attach the riser - Insert the end of the riser with teflon tape into the spring assembly. Use a wrench to tighten the connection, making sure to turn in a counterclockwise direction.
- Step 4. Insert the washer - Place EasyInstall locking washer in the faucet body.
- Step 5. Install the riser - Insert the riser into the faucet body until it pops into place.
- Step 6. Tighten the connection - Lower the EasyInstall nut down to the connection point, lock it into place and then tighten with a wrench, making sure to turn in a clockwise direction.
- Step 7. Use the faucet normally - After turning on the water to check for leaks, you can begin using your new plumbing fixture.
ULTRARINSE Sprayer Installation
- Step 1. Unscrew the nozzle from the T&S Brass faucet.
- Step 2. Insert the ULTRARINSE sprayer into the faucet and tighten the nut.
- Step 3. To ensure a strong connection, keep the lock washer in the ULTRARINSE swivel outlet.
- Step 4. Insert the removed nozzle into the top of the ULTRARINSE sprayer.
- Step 5. Tighten the nut.
