Cleaning is an essential part of regular maintenance. If you want to keep your TurboChef oven running at its most efficient, then you’ll need to ensure it’s clean and ready to go again at the end of each day. Follow these TurboChef i3 cleaning instructions and you can extend the lifespan of your unit.

Cleaning instructions for the TurboChef i3

  • Step 1. Make sure the oven is turned off. If not, turn the unit off and leave the door open to cool faster.
  • Step 2. Remove the wire rack and clean in the sink using warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Step 3. Remove the lower jet plate by loosening the thumb screws and wash the jet plate in the sink.
  • Step 4. Remove and clean the lower air diverter with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Step 5. Wipe down the interior of the oven with a damp cloth to remove any large debris.
  • Step 6. Spray oven cleaner onto the top, bottom and sides of the oven, being careful not to get the cleaner in the holes at the back.
  • Step 7. Scrub the interior of the oven with a nylon scrub pad.
  • Step 8. Using a nylon scrub pad and oven cleaner, scrub the oven door.
  • Step 9. Wipe down the oven door with a clean cloth and clean water.
  • Step 10. Rinse out the oven interior with a cloth and clean water.
  • Step 11. Reinstall the components that were removed to be cleaned.
  • Step 12. Remove and clean the drain pan.
  • Step 13. Wipe down the exterior of the oven with a damp towel.
  • Step 14. Remove the air filter and rinse with hot water before putting it back into place.
