If an issue arises with your unit though, you’ve got to solve it fast to avoid downtime. Solution


Beverage is taking too long to reach set temperature


  1. Beverage wasn’t pre-chilled before it was poured into the bowl
  2. Blocked airflow
  3. Impeller may be dirty or need to be lubricated
  4. Dirty condenser fins
  5. Damaged impeller


  1. Chill beverages before transferring them to bowl.
  2. Unit doesn’t have enough clearance for proper airflow; check to make sure the environment is correct for proper function.
  3. Check the impeller for food debris, and make sure that it can freely move. Use a food-grade lubricant as needed.
  4. Clean the condenser according to OEM’s instructions. 
  5. Replace impeller


Product is leaking from the unit


  1. Bowl isn’t properly seated on the gasket, or gasket may be installed incorrectly
  2. Spigot’s rubber washer isn’t installed properly
  3. Rubber washer or gasket is worn or damaged
  4. Piston hole’s ring may be dirty, worn or damaged


  1. Reassemble the unit
  2. Remove the spigot and check that the rubber washer is installed correctly
  3. Replace component
  4. Drain beverage from the bowl, remove the bowl and check the piston hole for debris or damage


Condensation on the bowl(s)


Ambient temperature is too warm OR humidity is too high


Check and change the temperature OR relocate the unit


Beverage isn’t circulating well

Ice buildup on evaporator plate caused by the unit running with less than the minimum amount of beverage in the bowl


  • Step 1—Turn off the unit
  • Step 2—Let ice melt
  • Step 3—Fill the bowl to above the minimum fill line
  • Step 4—Turn unit back on


Unit is loud while operating


  1. Impeller on agitator or stirring paddle may be damaged
  2. Issue with the fan


  1. Check the impeller and replace if it’s damaged
  2. Contact authorized service agent for assistance
