How to Program a Blodgett BC Touch Combi Oven
In addition to the Blodgett BC Touch Combi Oven’s pre-set cooking modes, you can program your own recipes on the unit, too. Organize recipes by categories and create multiple steps to cook any recipe. You can set different temperatures and time frames to cook your custom recipe at. This guide gives step-by-step instructions on how to save and manage recipes on your combi oven so you can cook your favorite foods easily and quickly.
Program Custom Recipes
Take these steps when you want to add custom recipes to your Blodgett BC Touch Combi Oven.
- Step 1. Access the recipes - Press the ‘recipes’ key on the main menu to get to the categories.
- Step 2. Adding a recipe - Press the ‘+’ key in the upper right hand corner of the screen to start adding a new recipe.
- Step 3. Select a product category - Choose between any of the product categories to assign your recipe to. There are options for different meats, bread and pastries to help you organize your recipes. Selecting a category will take you to the recipe page for the next steps.
- Step 4. (Optional) Adding to favorites - Select the ‘favorite’ key to add this new custom recipe to your favorites. Use this if your recipe is popular and frequently used in your oven.
- Step 5. Adding recipe information - Press the ‘name’ key to get to add your recipe’s title and description. Press the ‘>’ arrow key in the top right corner to save and continue.
- Step 6. Adding cooking steps - Choose the ‘add step’ key. This will bring you to options on cooking modes. Drag the selections up or down to choose your desired cooking mode. Press the ‘>’ arrow key in the top right corner to save and continue.
- Step 7. Select settings - Select the desired temperature and time settings for this step. Press the ‘>’ arrow key in the top right corner to save and continue. To add more steps to the recipe, repeat steps 6 & 7 until all cooking steps are added.
Editing a Recipe Category
Changing any of the recipe categories is quick and simple when you want to reorganize your oven.
- Step 1. More functions - On the recipe page, select the ‘more functions’ key at the bottom of the screen.
- Step 2. Change category - Press the ‘change category’ key from the selection of functions. This will bring up the category options. Then press the key for the desired new category you want to place the recipe in.
Copying a Recipe
Create modified versions of any recipes that you have in your Blodgett oven.
- Step 1. More functions - On the recipe page, select the ‘more functions’ key at the bottom of the screen.
- Step 2. Copy recipe - Select the ‘copy recipe’ key from the selection of functions. This will bring you to the recipe copy which you can then modify and rename.
Deleting a Recipe
Taking and deleting any recipes you don’t use is simple with the following steps.
- Step 1. More functions - On the recipe page, select the ‘more functions’ key at the bottom of the screen.
- Step 2. Delete recipe - Select the ‘delete recipe’ key from the selection of functions. This will prompt you to confirm with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ that you want to delete the recipe. Press ‘yes’ and it will immediately delete the recipe.
