With some light Beverage-Air Horizon Series troubleshooting, you’re sure to have your unit working again in no time.

The following guide is applicable to Horizon series reach-in refrigerator or freezer models.

Not Cooling or Freezing

If the unit just isn’t keeping product cool, there are a few possible culprits that could cause it.

  • Temperature is set too high - Decrease the unit temperature by pressing the down arrow button.
  • Door is left ajar - Securely close the refrigerator door.
  • Door gasket is dirty or damaged - Inspect the gasket to determine whether it needs to be cleaned or replaced.
  • Condenser coil is dirty - Clean the condenser.
  • Compressor is running too long - Contact an authorized service technician.
  • Unit is unplugged - Plug in the power cord and wait for the unit to power up and reach temperature.
  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the circuit breaker.

Door Not Closing

In order to keep the cool air inside the unit, the door needs to be able to securely close.

  • Door hinge is loose - Contact an authorized service technician to repair the hinge.
  • Door gasket is dirty or damaged - Inspect the gasket to determine whether it needs to be cleaned or replaced
  • The cabinet isn’t level - Adjust by rotating the foot with an adjustable wrench or placing washers between the stud and suitable material.
