Cleaning the Condenser Coil on a Victory Ultraspec Refrigerator & Freezer

You have the interior cleaned, the stainless steel polish and the racks all sanitized. But did you forget to clean out the coils on your refrigeration unit? Keeping condenser coils free of build-up is a key part of preventative maintenance, ensuring that temperatures are consistent and cool. We will walk you through cleaning the condenser coil on a Victory Ultraspec refrigerator & freezer, so your refrigerator can stay at peak performance.

Condenser Coil Cleaning

It is recommended to check the condenser coils monthly and clean as needed. The condenser coils on an Ultraspec Series unit are located at the top of the refrigeration unit.

  • Step 1. Turn off thermostat - Turn off the thermostat on the control panel.
  • Step 2. Disengage locking clips - Pull out the bottom of the top panel to disengage the locking clips.
  • Step 3. Secure panel - Hold the panel up in place by securing the latch into the notch on the right corner of the raised panel.
  • Step 4. Vacuum coils - Vacuum the coil to remove any dust build-up.
  • Step 5. Brush coils - Brush the coils in an up and down motion to remove any grease or grime.
  • Step 6. Check for damages - Check for any damaged fins.
  • Step 7. Close panel - Unlatch and lower the panel and push firmly on the bottom to engage the locking clips.
