Need to get product heated up quick but the unit isn’t working? Before you panic, there could be a simple fix to help you remedy the problem. In this guide, we’ll walk you through some commercial microwave troubleshooting tips so you can get equipment running and hot food out to customers.

Not Heating or Working

  • Power cord is unplugged - Plug in the unit.
  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the breaker.
  • Microwave is running but not heating product - Place a cool cup of water in the unit and let it run for 1 minute. If the water comes out unheated, contact an authorized service technician.
  • Buttons aren’t responding - Open and close the unit’s door. Then try pressing the buttons again.
  • Microwave is on and running but the light is off - Make sure the bulb is tightened into place. Replace the light bulb if it’s burnt out.
  • Wrong program was selected - Ensure you pick the right program with a long enough cooking time so product fully heats up.
  • Element is faulty or damaged - Contact an authorized service technician.

Please contact a local authorized service agent who can help with these specific units and all your commercial kitchen equipment needs.
