Whether you’ve just acquired a new unit or you’re reassembling after a thorough cleaning, knowing how to put together a Crathco Bubbler beverage dispenser is a necessary skill. Proper assembly means your machine continues to function properly and gives you the opportunity to inspect each component for wear.

Follow the instructions below to learn how to assemble a Crathco Bubbler beverage dispenser. This guide focuses on both Simplicity and Classic series models. If you need help with installation, please contact an authorized service technician for assistance.

Crathco Simplicity Bubbler Assembly

  • Step 1. Install the mixing impellers.
  • Step 2. Wet the bowl gaskets and then install them.
    • Note: Always inspect the gaskets for damages before installing. 
  • Step 3. Place the tab on the rear of the bowl under the gray tab on the machine and then press down on the front of the bowl until it automatically latches. Repeat this for additional bowls.
  • Step 4. Install the o-rings onto the dispense valves. 
  • Step 5. While placing the dispense valves into the bowls, install the handles on the bowl in the slotted hanger. 
  • Step 6. With the support brackets out, install the drip tray and cover.
  • Step 7. Add 5 oz. of water to the bowl and then dispense it into a cup to verify there’s no leaks. 
  • Step 8. Install the lids onto the bowls. 
    • Note: Fill the bowls with product if operating or leave empty if idle. 

Crathco Classic Bubbler Assembly

  • Step 1. Place the bearing sleeve on the guide pin.
    • Align the flat sides of the pin and the bearing sleeve until the pin rests on the cooling plate.
  • Step 2. Place the impeller over the bearing with the fins facing upward.
  • Step 3. Install the bowl gasket over the neck of the bowl.
    • Tip: Moisten the gasket with either water or a thin film of lubricant.
  • Step 4. Place the bowl onto the base, with the neck of the bowl over the center of the cooling plate.
  • Step 5. Place the pump cover over the guide pin with the spray tube toward the front.
    • Note: If you’ll be dispensing fresh juice, tea or dairy-based products or thicker beverages, use the agitator cover in place of the pump cover and spray tube.
  • Step 6. Install the lockdown washer/clamps.
    • Standard Units
      • Place the lockdown washer over the guide pin.
      • Press the lockdown washer down into the locking keyway.
      • Turn the lockdown washer clockwise into place.
    • Mini Units
      • Place the lockdown washer over the guide pin.
      • Press the lockdown washer down into the locking keyway.
      • Slide into the locked position.
  • Step 7. Assemble the valve and handle per your manual’s instructions.
  • Step 8. Place the cover on the drip pan and slide into place.
  • Step 9. Fill the bowls with premixed product. Place lids once filled, then turn on the spray switch and then refrigeration.
