Microwave Filter Replacement
The charcoal filter on a Frigidaire microwave should be replaced at least every 6 months.
Step 1. Disconnect the unit’s power cord.
Step 2. Open the filter cavity by pressing the push position on the cover and opening it.
Step 3. Remove the filter by pushing the top of it inwards and pulling it forward and out of the cavity.
Step 4. Install the new filter by sliding the top of it into the top area of the cavity and pressing the bottom of the filter into place.
Step 5. Close the cover by pressing it up. Then reconnect power to the microwave.
