How to Clean a Commercial Foodservice Heat Lamp

While it may seem like the unit stays relatively tidy, your buffet lamps can be victims to filth easily. Spills from the buffet line and grease accumulation can leave warming equipment a mess. Ensure the buffet line is looking presentable in time for the next dinner service by performing some quick maintenance. Cleaning Instructions

  • Step 1. Fully power down the lamps and wait for them to cool down before cleaning.
  • Step 2. Clean the entire lamp with a lightly dampened sponge and dish soap.
    • Note: Don’t get the sockets wet or immerse the lamp in water.
  • Step 3. Use a lightly damped cloth to rinse the lamp. Then use a separate cloth to dry it.
