How to Clean a Nieco MV & FH Automatic Broiler
Keeping your Nieco broiler clean is the first step to ensuring a long life and fresh products. Make sure you follow our instructions on how to clean a Nieco MV and FH automatic broiler so it’s done properly.
Nieco MV & FH Daily Cleaning
Cleaning Every Four Hours
- Step 1. Turn the broiler off and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Step 2. Using the manual or our disassembly video, remove the meat guides, feeder cover, feeder bases and feeder housing.
- Step 3. At a sink, wash and rinse the removed components with dish soap, a scrubber and water.
- Step 4. Wipe components dry before reinstalling.
Daily End-of-Shift Cleaning
- Step 1. Turn the broiler off and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Step 2. Follow the user manual or our disassembly video to disassemble the unit for cleaning.
- Note: The tools at the back of the unit can be used for cleaning the unit.
- Step 3. Use the scraper cleaning tools between the belts on both the feed end and discharge end.
- Step 4. At a sink, wash and rinse the removed components with dish soap, a scrubber and water.
- Note: Wipe the components dry before reinstalling them.
- Step 5. Clean the Incendalyst by rinsing it under warm water and set it aside to air dry.
- Step 6. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and dish soap.
- Step 7. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of how it was disassembled.
Nieco MV & FH Weekly Cleaning
- Step 1. Turn the broiler off and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Step 2. Follow the user manual or our disassembly video to disassemble the unit.
- Step 3. Wash and rinse the lower burner at the sink with dish soap, water and a scrubber.
- Step 4. Using a paper clip, ensure the lower burner holes are clear of debris.
- Step 5. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of how it was taken apart.
Nieco MV & FH Monthly Cleaning
- Step 1. Turn the broiler off and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Step 2. Follow the user manual or our disassembly video to disassemble the unit.
- Step 3. Wash and rinse the air boxes at the sink with dish soap, water and a scrubber.
- Step 4. Using a paper clip, ensure the air box holes are clear of debris.
- Step 5. Using the brush provided with the unit cleaning tools, clean the upper burner.
- Step 6. Using a paper clip, ensure the upper burner holes are clear of debris.
- Step 7. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of how it was taken apart.
