How to Clean a Victory UltraSpec Refrigerator or Freezer
Spills and messes in your commercial refrigerator are inevitable. With product constantly being shuffled in and out, the dirt and grime will pile up quickly on the shelves. Rather than leaving it to contaminate ingredients, give the unit the preventative maintenance it needs. With the help of this video guide, you’ll learn how to clean a Victory UltraSpec refrigerator or freezer so you can get yours looking like new.
These steps are applicable to UltraSpec models such as FA-1D-S1, FSA-3D-S1-XH, RA-1D-S1 and RSA-2D-S1.
Supplies
- Cleaning cloth
- Mild detergent
- Stainless steel cleaner
- Water
- Sponge
Cleaning Instructions
- Step 1. Wash the exterior - Use a cloth and mild detergent to clean the exterior.
- Note: Don’t use a chlorine cleaning solution.
- Step 2. Rinse and dry the exterior - Use a damp cloth to rinse the exterior and then a separate clean cloth to dry it.
- Step 3. Polishing - Use a soft cloth and stainless steel cleaner to polish the exterior at least once a week.
- Step 4. Power down the unit - Turn off the unit.
- Step 5. Uninstall shelves - Remove all shelving from the unit interior.
- Note: For freezers, leave the doors open to defrost before proceeding.
- Step 6. Clean the interior - Scrub all interior surfaces with a sponge dampened in warm water and mild detergent.
- Step 7. Rinse and dry the interior - Use a damp cloth to rinse the interior and then a separate clean cloth to dry it. Alternatively, you can leave the doors open for the unit to air dry after rinsing.
- Step 8. Clean the gasket - Wipe down the door gaskets with a damp cloth. Wipe it dry or leave the door open so the gasket can fully air dry.
