How to Clean a Winston CVap Holding Cabinet

Supplies
- Container or bucket
- Sponge
- Dish soap
- Water
- Cleaning cloths
- Stainless steel cleaner
Cleaning Instructions
A Winston CVap holding cabinet should be cleaned daily.
- Step 1. Power down the unit - Turn off and unplug the unit. Then wait for it to fully cool down before beginning to clean.
- Step 2. Prepare to drain - Place a bucket or container under the drain to collect water.
- Step 3. Drain the unit - Open the drain valve to release water from the evaporator and into the bucket or container.
- Note: Close the drain valve once it finished draining.
- Step 4. Disassembly - Remove the racks from inside of the unit.
- Step 5. Wash the interior - Clean the food cavity and evaporator with a sponge and soapy water.
- Note: Don’t get the side elements wet.
- Step 6. Rinse the interior - Use separate cloths to rinse and dry the food cavity and evaporator.
- Step 7. Clean the exterior - Use a clean cloth and stainless steel cleaner to wash the cabinet exterior.
- Step 8. Clean components - Wash the racks with a sponge and soapy water.
- Step 9. Rinse the components - Use separate cloths to rinse and dry the racks.
- Step 10. Reassembly - Reinstall the racks in the cabinet.
