Cleaning a Wooden Charcuterie Board: Instructions

Once you gather everything you need to clean your charcuterie board, follow these steps to get it spotless and ready for the next spread:

  • Step 1. Wipe away any crumbs or leftover food.
  • Step 2. Wash the board with a sponge and soapy water.
    • Note: Don’t soak the board in water.
  • Step 3. Rinse the board with water.
  • Step 4. Dry off the board with a towel or leave it out to air dry.
  • Step 5. Condition the board with food-safe mineral oil and a paper towel.
