How to Clean an Electrolux Professional Thawing Cabinet
Cleaning an Electrolux Professional thawing cabinet should be done regularly to ensure equipment doesn’t break down. Otherwise you could run into issues you need to troubleshoot. Here’s the steps to properly clean the thawing cabinet as well as the supplies you will need.

- Soft clothes
- Soap

- Spray bottle
- Sponge
- Stainless steel polish
- Dishwasher
Electrolux Professional Thawing Cabinet Cleaning Instructions
- Turn the power off - Be sure the power is turned off to avoid injury or damaging equipment.
- Remove the inside rack support, back conveyor and grid supports - Remove all of these components so they can be cleaned separately and to best access the inside of the thawing cabinet for cleaning.
- Note: All of the removed components can be loaded into the dishwasher to be cleaned.
- Remove the liquid basin for cleaning - Remove the liquid basin. Then clean it with warm, soapy water and a scrub brush. Be sure to rinse and dry it after with a clean cloth.
- Note: The basin could be full of water so be careful not to spill when removing it.
- Clean the interior - Now that everything is removed you can clean the interior of the thawing cabinet. You will want to use a sponge and warm, soapy water to clean it.
- Note: Be sure to also clean the inner door deflector if it’s present in your specific unit.
- Rinse and dry the interior - You can now rinse off the interior with a soaked cloth and then dry it with a clean, dry cloth.
- Clean the door frame - Clean the door frame by using warm, soapy water and a sponge.
- Clean the gasket - Clean the gasket by wiping it with a soaked cloth.
- Rinse and dry the gasket - Use a clean cloth to rinse and dry off the gasket.
- Reinstall the components - Reinstall the liquid basin, inside rack support, back conveyor, and grid supports into the unit.
- Clean the stainless steel exterior - Clean the stainless steel surfaces on the exterior by using a cloth dampened with stainless steel polish or paraffin oil.
