How to Clean an Ice-O-Matic CIM Modular Cuber Condenser Coil
Keeping coils clean is an essential part of preventative maintenance to ensure that machines can have airflow and last longer. That’s why we will go through how to clean an Ice-O-Matic CIM modular cuber condenser coil so you can get those coils looking brand new. Your modular cuber can get back to churning out cubes and keeping things icy cold when you maintain it.
Condenser Coil Cleaning
Condenser coils should be checked for build-up when you clean and descale the unit.
- Step 1. Take off front panel - Take the front panel off of the machine by unscrewing the bottom screws.
- Step 2. Turn off machine - Press the “POWER” button to turn the machine off.
- Step 3. Remove air filter - To access the condenser coils, remove the air filter in the back.
- Step 4. Brush coils - Use a coil brush to remove any dirt or debris from the coils. Make sure to brush in a vertical motion from side to side to avoid damaging any fins.
- Step 5. Straighten fins - If any of the fins are bent, carefully straighten them with a fin comb.
