How to Disassemble & Reassemble a Zumex Juicer

In order to properly clean commercial juicers, they need to be taken apart to access all the parts that come into contact with product. So if it’s the end of the shift and it’s time for daily cleaning, Parts Town has just the guide you need to learn how to disassemble and reassemble a Zumex juicer. This will help ensure it’s done right and no parts get damaged in the process. 

These steps are applicable to Zumex juicers such as the Speed S Plus, Speed Up, Tank Podium and Pomegranate

Disassembly

Before you start to clean the unit, you need to disassemble it.

  • Step 1. Turn off the juicer and unplug the power cord.
  • Step 2. Remove the feeder basket.
  • Step 3. Remove the feeder plate by unscrewing the middle knob and lifting the plate up.
  • Step 4. Remove the peel guides and side chutes.
  • Step 5. Turn the front cover knobs 90 degrees and remove the cover.
  • Step 6. Remove the peel ejectors and the Automatic PulpOut System.
  • Step 7. Remove the tap by unscrewing it.
    • Note. Tank podium models have different disassembly.
  • Step 8. Remove the tray by pressing the side tabs and pulling out.
  • Step 9. Remove the juicing system.
    • Note. This step will differ between models depending on if it has the standard components or the 1Step Extraction Kit. 
  • Step 10. Use the blade guard to carefully remove the center blade.
  • Step 11. Remove the drip tray.
  • Step 12. Remove the waste bins. 

Reassembly

After disassembly and cleaning is completed, the juicer needs to be put back together. To reassemble the juicer, reverse the order of how it was taken apart. 

  • Step 1. Reinstall the waste baskets.
  • Step 2. Reinstall the drip tray.
  • Step 3. Reinstall the blade and juicing system.
  • Step 4. Reinstall the tray by pushing in and locking in the side tabs. 
  • Step 5. Reinstall the Automatic PulpOut System by pushing it into place.
  • Step 6. Screw the tap back into place.
  • Step 7. Reinstall the front cover and secure it by turning the knobs 90 degrees. 
  • Step 8. Reinstall the peel guides.
  • Step 9. Reinstall the feeder plate and fasten the middle knob to lock it in place.
  • Step 10. Reinstall the feeder basket.
