How to Operate a Winston CVap Holding Cabinet

Keeping food held at the perfect temperature is a breeze with the right equipment and the know-how to use it. Warming and holding units are just what you need to keep main entrees, sides and even appetizers warm and tasty. Winston CVap Holding Cabinet Operating Instructions 

These units are thankfully easy to use once you know how. So whether you just took yours out of the box or it’s been a while since you had to operate it, follow our steps to get it working right.

  1. Plug in the unit - Plug the unit’s power cord into an outlet to start powering it up.
  2. Turn on the unit - Flip the power switch to the on position.
  3. Set the temperature - Depending on your specific model, use either a dial or button to set the temperature to the proper setting.
    1. Note. Consult your operation manual for the recommended temperature setting.
  4. Set the texture - Depending on your specific model, use either a dial or button to set the texture to the proper setting.
    1. Note. Consult your operation manual for the recommended texture setting.
  5. Add water - In order to operate properly, the evaporator needs water added within 1” of the overflow.
  6. Load food - The cabinet is now ready to hold food at the perfect temperature. Load in trays and ensure they line up properly on the racks. 
    1. Note. Adjust the temperature and texture settings as needed to maintain the desired quality.
