Programming Cooler Alarms on a Thermo-Kool Walk-In
Thermo-Kool walk-in coolers have alarms that measure the temperature inside the unit and alert operators if the temperature goes above or below certain setpoints. Programming Cooler Alarms
Programming the High Cooler Alarm Setpoint
- Step 1. Adjust the temperature - Decrease the temperature by pressing the DOWN key and increase the temperature by pressing the UP key.
- Step 2. Confirm the new setpoint - Press the ENTER key to establish the new high setpoint.
Adjusting the Low Cooler Alarm Setpoint
- Step 1. Change the temperature - Use the DOWN key to lower the temperature and the UP key to raise the temperature.
- Step 2. Accept the new setpoint - Confirm the new setpoint by pressing the ENTER key.
Setting the Delay on the Air Alarm
- Step 1. Adjust the time - Decrease the time by pressing the DOWN key or increase the time by pressing the UP key.
- Step 2. Confirm the new setting - Accept the new time by pressing the ENTER key.
- Step 3. Leave the programming menu - Exit the programming menu by pressing the ENTER key until the phrase “COOLER FRONT” appears on the display.
Programming the Door Heater
Adjusting the Door Heater Temperature
- Step 1. Enter programming mode - Press and hold the ENTER key to initiate programming mode.
- Step 2. Enter the password - To enter the password, press the LIGHT key, the UP key and then the DOWN key. Press ENTER to continue.
- Step 3. Bypass changing the password, RTC Setup and DH Setup - Press the ENTER key after each prompt to skip changing the password, RTC Setup and DH Setup.
- Step 4. Change the door heater temperature - Use the UP and DOWN keys to adjust the door heater temperature.
- Step 5. Confirm the new temperature - Press the ENTER key to confirm and move on to the next step.
