In high-volume commercial kitchens, Nieco automated flame broilers rely on non-stick PTFE sheets to ensure patties and proteins glide smoothly across the broiling cavity. Learning how to replace Nieco JF broiler PTFE release sheets is an essential preventative maintenance skill that prevents product sticking, preserves charbroiled flavor and extends belt life.

Nieco PTFE Release Sheet Replacement

Nieco JF broiler PTFE release sheets should be replaced as needed whenever sticking or tearing occurs.

  • Step 1. Remove front components - Remove the front components to access the release sheet.
  • Step 2. Loosen retaining wing nuts - Loosen and remove the threaded wing nuts holding the clamp bracket in place to free the release sheets.
  • Note: Be careful not to drop or lose the wing nuts.
  • Step 3. Remove the old release sheet - Slide the worn PTFE release sheet out from under the mounting bracket and discard it.
  • Step 4. Line up the new release sheet - Align the new release sheet ensuring it’s resting flat and not folded.
  • Step 5. Secure the sheet with wing nuts - Reinstall the clamp bracket and hand-tighten the wing nuts firmly to secure the new sheet in position.
    • Note: Repeat steps 2-5 for the second release sheet.
