Tips and essentials for the restaurant, foodservice and HVAC spaces in one place.

Sometimes, a simple reboot is all you need to get equipment working again. However, it might be a little intimidating  if you’re not completely familiar with the particular unit. Or if the unit is a high-tech machine with a fancy touchscreen to operate it with. Fear not, though, Parts Town has both this written guide and a video to help walk you through how to reset a TurboChef bullet oven.

How to Reset a TurboChef Bullet Oven

  1. Turn off the unit - Press the off icon in the bottom left corner of the touchscreen to turn off the unit.
  2. Unplug the unit - To ensure all power is cut from the unit to do a full reboot, you’ll need to also unplug it.
  3. Wait - Wait for 2 minutes before taking the next steps.
  4. Plug in the unit - To start the unit back up, plug it in.
  5. Turn on the unit - To complete the reset process, press the on button.

If the reboot was done to try and remedy an issue with the unit, check to see if the problem is still present. If the TurboChef bullet is still not working, explore our TurboChef video library for simple troubleshooting or contact an authorized service technician for additional support.
