Searing Shrimp
Tip 1. Always add the proper cooking oil to your pan or tilt skillet before adding the shrimp.
Tip 2. Make sure each shrimp is lying flat in the skillet to ensure all pieces of shrimp gets time searing in the skillet or pan.
Tip 3. Always start with dry shrimp so it isn’t watery and gets the proper seared finish.
Tip 4. Cooking temperature will vary depending on the seasoning and marinade you use so be sure to consult your specific recipe for how high of heat to use.
Tip 5. Halfway through the cooking time, you need to flip all the shrimps over to ensure an even sear on both sides.
