Imperial Gas Range Troubleshooting

Is the pilot failing to light or the oven just won’t heat up? Don’t let that bring the dinner rush to a halt. Instead get your unit running again with these Imperial gas range troubleshooting tips. They’ll help you get back to cooking again so your customers can get what they ordered.

Not Working

  • Unit isn’t plugged in - Plug in the power cord.
    • Note: Not all gas models will have a power cord.
  • Temperature knobs are set to off or the incorrect temperature - Adjust the knobs to the correct temperature setting.
  • Gas supply is closed - Open the gas valve.
  • Pilot is unlit - Light the pilot.
  • Gas hose is leaking - Spray soapy water around gas connections and check for bubbles to confirm if there is a leak. Then contact an authorized service technician.
  • Gas hose connection is loose - Securely connect the gas hose.
  • Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the breaker.
    • Note: This is only applicable to models with a power cord.
