But what if we told you that there are many ways to clean your microwave easily with stuff you already have in your kitchen? Too good to be true? Not at all!

1. How to Clean a Microwave with Lemon 

Supplies you’ll need:

Procedures: 

  • Step 1—Put on your gloves. 
  • Step 2—Cut the lemon, squeeze and add halves to a water-filled bowl. 
  • Step 3—Place the bowl into the microwave and heat on high for 3 minutes. 
  • Step 4—Let the bowl stand for 5 minutes with the door closed. This will let the steam soak into those tough spots.
  • Step 5—Wipe down the microwave with a sponge or soft microfiber cloth.

2. How to Clean a Microwave with Vinegar 

Supplies you’ll need:

Procedures:

  • Step 1—Put on your gloves. 
  • Step 2—Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to 1 cup of water into a bowl.  
  • Step 3—Place the bowl in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

  • Step 3—Place the bowl in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

  • Step 5—Wipe down the microwave with a sponge or soft microfiber cloth.

4. How to Clean a Microwave with Dish Soap 

Supplies you’ll need:

Procedures:

  • Step 1—Put on your gloves. 
  • Step 2—Add 1 teaspoon dish soap to 1 cup water into a bowl.
  • Step 3—Place the bowl in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • Step 4—Let the bowl stand for 5 minutes with the door closed.
  • Step 5—Wipe down the microwave with a sponge.
  • Step 6—Use the mixture to wipe down tougher stains. 
  • Step 7—Rinse with water until no soap residue remains.
