Nitro Brew Dispenser Troubleshooting

When you have a line out the door of your coffee shop, you need to be able to pour delicious cold brews quickly. So if the dispenser isn’t working or the product isn’t the right temperature, you’re going to need to fix the unit fast. This guide has the nitro brew dispenser troubleshooting tips you need to get most commercial models working in no time. 

Not Working

  • Unit isn’t plugged in - Plug in the power cord.
  • Controller is off - Turn on the controller.
  • Circuit breaker is tripped or off - Turn on or reset the circuit breaker. 
  • Condenser coil is dirty - Clean the condenser coil with a brush or vacuum. 

Pouring Too Warm or Too Cold

Too Hot

  • No power to dispenser - Plug in the power cord. 
  • Temperature setting is too high - Decrease the temperature by using the specific model’s manual instructions for using the controller. 
  • Dispenser cabinet gasket is damaged or dirty - Clean or replace the gasket. 

Too Cold or Lukewarm

  • Temperature setting is too low - Increase the temperature by using the specific model’s manual instructions for using the controller. 
  • Condenser coil is dirty - Clean the condenser coil with a brush or vacuum. 

Leaking Nitrogen or Liquid

  • Product tank lid is loose - Remove the lid and reattach it perfectly centered for a proper seal. 
  • Fitting or faucet is loose or disconnected or broken - Contact an authorized service technician to repair it. 

Prepare the Unit for a Tech

If there is a leak that needs to be fixed by a technician, do the following to prepare the unit:

  • Step 1. Turn off the nitrogen to the unit. 
  • Step 2. Disconnect the quick disconnects from the product tank. 
  • Step 3. Contact the proper customer support line to get a technician to diagnose and repair the unit.
