TurboChef Conveyor Oven Error Codes

High-speed commercial conveyor ovens from TurboChef deliver rapid baking and even heat distribution for busy pizza shops and restaurants. When the digital control screen displays an alert, understanding TurboChef conveyor oven error codes allows kitchen operators and service technicians to quickly diagnose airflow restrictions, temperature sensor faults and conveyor drive errors.

F1: Blower Failure

  • The circuit breaker is off or tripped - Check the electrical panel and reset any tripped breakers. Unplug the oven's power cord, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in to reboot the system.

F2: Low Temp During Cook

  • The circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the main facility circuit breaker.
  • Too much product was loaded on the conveyor - Reduce product density on the belt and ensure cooking pans have at least 1 to 2 inches of clearance between them.
  • The oven is dirty - Heavy grease or debris can impede heat transfer. Clean the interior cavity and blower vents thoroughly.
  • The oven didn't fully heat up - Return the oven to the OFF state on the touchscreen display and reselect your desired cooking profile to allow full preheating.

F6: EC Over Temp

  • Airflow blockage into the electrical compartment - Inspect the exterior air intake louvers and remove any cloths, boxes or grease buildup blocking ventilation.
  • Cooling fans aren't working properly - If cooling fan motors have stalled, power down the oven and contact an authorized service technician.

F7: RTD Failure

  • Damaged or defective oven components - If the internal RTD temperature probe is damaged or disconnected, shut off power and contact an authorized service technician.

F8: High Limit Tripped

  • Unit is dirty - Excessive carbon or grease build-up can trap heat and trip the high limit thermostat. Clean the oven thoroughly.

F9: Belt Run Failure

  • Too much weight was placed on the conveyor - Power off the unit, allow it to cool and remove product from the belt.
  • A blockage is preventing the conveyor from turning - While the oven is cooled and disconnected, inspect the belt path and remove lodged utensils or baked-on product.
  • Damaged or defective oven components - If drive gears or linkages are worn, contact an authorized service technician.
  • Conveyor drives are overheated - Ensure that air filters are clean and that the kitchen's ambient room temperature remains below 100°F (38°C).
