TurboChef i3 or i5 Not Working: Troubleshooting Tips
- Issue 1: The unit is unplugged.
- Fix: Plug in the unit.
- Issue 2: The unit is turned off.
- Fix: Turn on the unit.
- Issue 3: The circuit breaker is off or tripped.
- Fix: Turn on or reset the circuit breaker.
- Issue 4: The door isn’t fully closed.
- Fix: Clear away any blockages and securely close the door.
- Issue 5: The high limit is tripped.
- Fix: Reset the high limit.
- Issue 6: The lower air diverter is missing or improperly installed.
- Fix: properly install the lower air diverter.
- Issue 7: The wrong food item or group was selected.
- Fix: Select the desired food item.
- Issue 8: The unit is dirty.
- Fix: Clean the unit.
How to Reset a TurboChef i3 & i5
- Step 1. Put the oven in the OFF state.
- Step 2. Unplug the power cord and wait 2 minutes.
- Step 3. Plug in the unit.
- Step 4. Press the On/Off key.
- Note: Some models will have a main power supply that needs to be turned on.
Resetting the High Limit
- Step 5. If the high limit trips, reset it by pressing the button in the bottom left corner of the oven’s rear wall.
