Ultrafryer UltraGold Series Fryer Troubleshooting
Is the fryer failing to power up or the pump just isn’t filtering? Before you make an expensive service call, there’s a few simple ways you might be able to fix it yourself. These Ultrafryer UltraGold series fryer troubleshooting tips can help you get your unit running again.
The following tips are applicable to the Ultrafryer UltraGold series units such as the 14, 18 and 20 models.
Not Working or Filtering
- One or both of the power cords are unplugged - Plug in both power cords.
- One or both of the power cords are damaged - Contact an authorized service technician.
- Gas valve is partially or fully closed - Fully open the valve.
- Unit is turned off - Turn on the fryer.
- Circuit breaker is off or tripped - Turn on or reset the breaker.
- Drain valve is partially or fully open - Fully close the valve.
- Hi limit is tripped - Reset the hi limit.
- Power failure has occurred - Wait 5 minutes after power is restored to restart the unit.
- GFI outlet is tripped - Press the reset button on the outlet.
- Wrong program or temperature setting was selected - Switch to the desired program or temperature setting for the product being fried.
- Component failure - Contact an authorized service technician for all fryer part replacements.
