Comstock-Castle Stove fut fondé en 1838 au moment où Allen Comstock et Timothy H. Castle étaient tous les deux propriétaires de quincailleries sur la frontière américaine et ils avaient besoin d’un moyen plus rapide pour procurer la fonte aux nouveaux colons. En 1846, Comstock avait sa fonderie, Castle s’est joint à celle-ci en 1850. Et en 1930, l’entreprise avait cessé la production de sa gamme de poêle à bois et de poêle au charbon pour la remplacer par des modèles au gaz naturel. Aujourd’hui, Comstock-Castle fabrique un vaste éventail de brûleurs, cuisinières, fours, grils, gril à charbon de bois, plaques chauffantes, friteuse et plus encore.
