A set of all-purpose kitchen shears typically comes between 8-9 inches in length. However, this range can vary depending on the cooking scissor’s designated purpose. For instance, herb shears are smaller at about only 3-5 inches, while poultry shear's heavy-duty tasks require 5-8 inches of wedge force.
