Leyann – Product Data, Addison

I would like to nominate Leyann for a VIP award, recognizing an exceptional effort with a lightning-fast turnaround time.

Alex – Marketing, Addison

Alex is our Salesforce SME and since everything we do in Tech lives in that world, Alex is our go-to person for solving issues and creating unique solutions that help our team and our manufacturer partners.

Tech just implemented a new tool within Salesforce that allows us to video chat with callers allowing us to see what the caller sees. After implementing the new tool, we realized that manufacturers can’t see the videos in our cases without a license of their own. Over the past month and half, Alex has been working closely with counterparts at SF to come up with a creative solution that eliminates the need for added expense. This has required Alex to spend a significant amount of his time trading ideas with SF and testing those solutions. He’s an invaluable business partner for Tech and we couldn’t have gotten this done without his support.

Thanks Alex…you rock!

Cale – Distribution Center, Addison

I would like to nominate Cale for VIP. He was recently asked to host a tour of our DC for a partnered manufacturer, and he knocked it out the park. At the beginning of the tour, Cale warned that he may “nerd out”, and I’m so glad he did just that. When you have a discussion with someone who shares details of their work and passions, their light draws you in and gets you equally excited. The ownership of the processes within the DC, telling the “why” behind the innovation, and sharing the pure joy of what he does made an impact on the manufacturer and on the Parts Town team members that joined for the show. Thank you, Cale, for being a fantastic storyteller and highlighting our core values to our partners so well.

Tricia – Distribution Center, Addison

I would like to nominate Tricia for a V.I.P. award. Tricia is amazing! Whenever I have any questions about OSDs, workflow, or need an update, Tricia and her team are always there to help. Tricia takes the time to explain things with patience, kindness, and humor, even while managing and expediting a high volume of requests, not to mention the time, research, and effort that she puts into each request. Having her to reach out to for support is huge for our team and our daily work. Thank you, Tricia, (and your team as well!) for everything you do!

Michael – Distribution Center, Addison

Mike recently became the Team Lead of our dept. and I think he’s already brought so much to the team and specifically, myself. Being a long-time employee here, I’m so happy that Mike finally gets the opportunity to shine. His knowledge of the company and specifically the Inventory Dept is crucial. We have a great team & a great supervisor, but I think it would run a little differently if Mike wasn’t involved. I see you Mike (even when you don’t “say” you’re helping.) and I appreciate everything you do. A VIP nomination is well deserved.

Dan – Service, Addison

I would like to nominate Dan for VIP! While I don’t work in the same department as Dan, I often get to witness his passion and excitement for his team and Parts Town firsthand. Whether he’s sharing kind words at a milestone anniversary celebration, greeting new hires as they pass by his desk every Thursday, or letting his alter ego Dr. G out to entertain us, Dan’s passion for Parts Town shines through every day. He is a dedicated (14 years!) and inspiring leader – and always fun to chat with. I hope he knows how much we appreciate him!

Macy – Purchasing, Fort Wayne

I would like to nominate Macy for VIP. This girl is amazing in the Purchasing department. Every time I need some help with PO’s, figuring out what I am missing on cases, basically ANYTHING…she is there to help! She tells me what I am missing, helps me learn to look the next time for myself and is always so kind about doing it. I have thought a thousand times, “Man, I need to nominate this girl. She is a rock star.” Well today is the day; I am letting the cat out of the bag… Macy is my go-to rock star in purchasing and gets stuff done! Thanks for the help in figuring out all my problems and getting me answers!

Nikki – Customer Support, Canada

I personally believe Nikki hits all the core values on the mark, integrity, community, and passion especially. Since day 1 she has helped me get through anything I was struggling with, and I have seen her do the same with many others. She also always makes sure the customer is happy at the end of their interaction with her. Nikki always goes above and beyond with whoever she’s working on or helping with, and I see it rub off on everyone in our Parts Town community. Nikki has had a huge impact on how I do my work and I believe many new hires as well. She’s showed me the ropes on what to do and because of her teachings I can do my work as well as I do and now, I am able to pass that knowledge over to new hires.

Romane – Customer Support, Canada

I would like to nominate Romane on Passion and Courage. Romane has been enthusiastic since she started and has been at the highest level since, she brings life into the office and is a joy every day. She makes everyone laugh and smile and I believe she brings the same energy to every customer she interacts with. She always goes beyond what’s expected and makes sure her customers have the most positive experience possible. I don’t directly work with her on a daily basis, but her laugh is contagious, and her joy and energy can be felt across the room. I believe she’s most impactful to those she interacts with coworkers and customers included.

Megana – Customer Support, Canada

I’d like to nominate Megana for a VIP award. She is a true team player, she is persistent, thorough, and graceful in her interactions with customers, and a joy to work with. Megana is always ready to tackle any task or project that comes her way and is there to lend a helping hand to her teammates.
